Turbo-Guard Installation Instruction

Congratulations on purchasing the Turbo-Guard, the premier protection for your turbo or supercharger. This high-quality screen filter is designed to prevent debris from entering your turbo system, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.

Tools Required:

- 5/16-inch socket or nut driver, flat head screw driver

Installation Steps:


1. Preparation:

Ā Ā  - Ensure the engine is off and cool to touch before attempting installation.

Ā Ā  - Locate the turbo or supercharger inlet. Clean the area to remove any existing debris, dirt, or residue to ensure a secure fit.


2. Position the Turbo-Guard:

Ā Ā  - Slide the Turbo-Guard Screen Filter over the inlet of the turbo or supercharger.

Ā Ā  - Ensure it is aligned properly, sitting evenly on the edge of the inlet.


3. Attach the Worm Gear Clamp:

Ā Ā  - Place the worm gear clamp around the base of the Turbo-Guard. Align the clamp with the groove at the screenā€™s edge to secure it properly.

4. Tighten the Clamp:

Ā Ā  - Using a 5/16-inch socket or adjustable wrench, gently tighten the worm gear clamp.

Ā Ā  - **Important:** Tighten until the Turbo-Guard is securely fixed without any movement. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the hose or fitting.

Ā Ā  - Check the security by lightly tugging the Turbo-Guard to ensure it does not shift.


5. Final Check:

Ā Ā  - Inspect the Turbo-Guard one more time to ensure it is securely and evenly placed.


6. Post-Installation:

Ā Ā  - Start your engine and monitor the Turbo-Guard during the first few uses to ensure it remains secure.

Ā Ā  - Periodically check the Turbo-Guard for any wear or debris build-up, especially in off-road conditions.


**Maintenance:**

- Regularly inspect and clean the Turbo-Guard as part of your vehicleā€™s maintenance routine. Any accumulated debris should be removed to maintain airflow efficiency and protection.
